The 2020 Gold Quill Awards program will open in early September 2019. The full schedule of deadlines for 2020 is:
Early-bird deadline: 15 October 2019 (Tuesday) 11:59pm PT
Deadline: 9 January 2020 (Thursday) 11:59pm PT
Late deadline: 23 January 2020 (Thursday) 11:59pm PT
Winners are announced in April.
All eligible work must be implemented, published or broadcast between January 2017 and the day of submission. If a long-term strategy was developed prior to January 2017 and hasn’t previously been entered, it is eligible for entry. If you entered your work in 2018 or 2019 and didn’t win an award, you may revise and re-enter your project. Entries that have won in previous years may not be resubmitted.

Note: Payment is the final step in the submission process – entries must be paid in full in order to be considered and put forward for evaluation. Payment must be made by credit card in the online system – no checks will be accepted for payment).
If your organization does not allow credit card payments, you may request to pay by wire transfer. Please note that wire transfer payments must be received prior to the 23 January final deadline in order for your entry to be considered. Once the wire transfer has been received and confirmed the entrant will receive a payment code that will allow you to submit your entry.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org and received before the submission deadline to be considered. No refunds will be provided after the final 23 January 2020 deadline.
